Herbalism
Herbalism is the ancient and holistic practice of working with plants as allies for healing, nourishment, and balance. Drawing on the wisdom of nature, herbalism sees each plant as a teacher and remedy — offering support for the body, mind, and spirit. With roots in global traditions, herbalism invites us to remember our connection to the earth and cultivate wellness through teas, tinctures, salves, and everyday plant-based practices.
I hold a 100-hour Herbalism Certificate from Ecoversity, where I trained in plant identification, medicine-making, and holistic healing traditions. This study deepened my understanding of how plants can be used both practically and spiritually to support well-being.
What Herbalism Can Do
Support the body’s natural healing processes
Soothe stress, anxiety, and nervous tension
Boost the immune system and overall vitality
Aid digestion, sleep, and hormonal balance
Provide natural remedies for everyday ailments
Strengthen connection to the rhythms of nature
Studies and centuries of traditional knowledge suggest that plant medicine can reduce inflammation, balance the nervous system, and enhance overall resilience. Beyond their physical benefits, many experience herbalism as a path of reconnection — to the earth, to ancestral wisdom, and to themselves.
